Making Sense of the Insensible ~ A Book by Leonie Blackwell from Leonie Blackwell on Vimeo.
Exciting times are here!! After submitting my book proposal to Hay House I have signed a contract to have the book published through Balboa Press, the self-publishing division of Hay House. I have created a Facebook page for the book. Please like the Making Sense of the Insensible page!!
Are there recurring themes in your life that you just don’t get? Have you ever wondered why things happen to you, your friends or family? Have you tried to put the jigsaw puzzle of your life together and somehow all the pieces don’t quite fit? These are some of the questions we ask because hardships and setbacks are experienced by us all. They often feel unfair and unjust rather than opportunities to grow into your best possible self.
In Making Sense of the Insensible I give you fresh insight and understanding into these difficult and often painful and unfair events. Instead of seeing them as a series of random occurrences that buffet, anger, victimise and overwhelm you, I invite you to embrace them as part of the rich tapestry of your life; as lessons to learn and grow from.
The book explores ten injustices that can occur in your childhood, as adults or run throughout your life as a recurrent theme. They are often the events you spend a lifetime trying to make sense of. The lessons of injustice come to you in three ways – how you treat others, how others treat you and how you treat yourself. Regardless of the source of the experience the goal is to embark on the journey of transformation and empowerment.
Making Sense of the Insensible provides a practical explanation of the injustices and what lessons there are to learn from each. Using real life examples and information derived from years of hands on experience, I open your mind to new and exciting perceptions of the meaning and purpose of your life.
There are ten injustices: idleness, hypocrisy, limitations, deception, temptation, intimidation, vanity, selfishness, emotionality and injustice.

There are many Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) protocols used to help release the issues and a process to clear the collective lie that traps us in the injustices.
Testimonial from the Injustice of Idleness Workshop:
This course changed my life!! It opened my eyes and set me free. It was amazing to learn so much in such a short period of time and come away inspired at the possibilities and gifts that we have inside us but that we have buried or ignored or had squashed. Often I have found I come away from courses feeling messy and sad and made to feel like my own human-ness is pointed out and amusing to the instructors that I may never get to where “they are at” in my life journey and that I need to accept all that has happened and immediately be at peace with it all and if I cannot do this then I am just so far down in my personal development. This was NOT the case with this course. We were all made to feel “it’s OK to have feelings, be human and have baggage” and that we can work with it and still grow and blossom. Leonie and Sylv had a way of making everyone feel nurtured, at ease and at no point did I feel judged. Leonie has a way of dishing out the hard truth without sending everyone running out the door or fighting over the box of tissues. She sees life like nobody I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. To realise how others treat us and how we treat others and ourselves is an amazing insight and something all of us need to learn. Thank you so much. AW

Feedback on the injustice of selfishness workshop:
This session about the injustice of selfishness made me think deeply about myself as a person and all the things that impact on my journey. It was a real ‘food for thought’ day. It really made me think about what happens to me on a daily basis. The great sessions on healing the issues was appreciated. LM
Feedback from the Injustice of Emotionality workshop:
Today was one of the best days of my life!! The tapping made so much difference. Being able to write down the tapping specific to me after doing the main tappings just shifted so much, ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! Thank you for changing our lives. AJ Walsh
Wow, this Injustice of Emotionality is HUGE! I feel I have reached the core of my powerlessness as a woman and am now ready for stepping into my soul’s purpose! I realise now I am NOT my beliefs and automatic reactions and feel a strength to face the reality of my life and love myself deeply and completely as my whole divine self. Kellie Beverly
